Went to Malaysian Food Street at RWS yesterday night. Yup, a bunch of Malaysian went to the so called Malaysian Food Street to get a taste of Malaysia's food, which all available at reasonable prices but in ridiculous currency. If you know what I mean. :')
This just showed how much we miss home and those yummylicious food (put it in another way to we are pretty sick with the authentic local food here oops)
Bunch of people not knowing which direction to go for and finally managed to locate the place. It is just right beside the Universal globe. (Are you kidding me that you can't even locate the globe?) Oh, beware that we are the noisiest group of irritating immature youths (in my humblest opinion, if I am not part of the group :P)
Tadda~~
70's oldies design street, plentiful of food varieties that made you spoiled for choices, air-conditioned place (Malaysia's food street where have air cond one you tell me! At least not in my memory now) and the best is there are no repeat food stalls at all! Alright, most food courts have no repeat food stalls for most of the time but if you had visited some food courts in KL, you will know how satisfied I was at this place. Cause practically save me from headache to decide and pondering in front of two different stalls selling some stuffs just to make sure I get the best taste. #impickyeater
The noisiest moment when we had to decide who to order what. Oh, what's new again.
Food galore!
You wouldn't have choose to believe that we ordered these less right? Haha! I feel so guilty that I didn't get to snap all the freaking high pricing foods that we ordered and filled in. Because, beside being the noisiest, this bunch of people is also food terrorists, who attacked the dishes whenever they were served within 5 secs. Or perhaps less than that. Count me lucky for being able to snap these fews k? :)
So this is the list of food we tried: fringing expensive egg tarts and "shao bao", the really yummy and almost authentic prawn mee (for a KL standard, don't judge if you from Penang), char kuey tiao that looked really pale but gave your taste bud a surprise (a good one la!), Klang Bak Kut Teh that according to my standard is pretty failed but tasted to be fine for the rest -.- (this one you got to trust me! haha!), claypot chicken rice that was pretty average and could be better if they cut the chicken into smaller pieces, hokkien mee that was another fail cause it definitely didn't taste like an authentic one, unsurprised wanton noodle, chendol, ice kacang...
Why would I bother to list down all the food -_________- Not sure if I missed out any food cause we simply ordered a lot and busy attacking food and photo-bombed for most of the time. LOL! Alright based on my standard, I will say the prawn mee, wanton noodle, claypot chicken rice, egg tart and chendol are pretty worth trying. The rest depends on how adventurous you wanna be. There are still pretty much other food there too but we simply don't have enough stomach to fill the whole street in. T________T
Just when I am typing til this sentence, I realized I DID MISS out one item. MALACCA CHICKEN RICE BALL!! #excited Haha! You should try these tiny balls too!! The rice ball is more sticky and compact as compared to the Malacca one, trust me cause I only went to Malacca last two weeks lol! And the greatest part is the chicken is damn freaking nice! Soft and tender and melt right in your mouth! This is far better than the old chicken we tasted in Malacca the other time. >________<
Alright, guess the list is quite complete with the last item added on. :D
Wanna take a look how food terrorists work?
Fight for food! Fight for.. er.. Red bean soup I think? LOL!
Want good food? Must be hardworking and move your ass away from the chair to follow wherever the food is! #likeapro
Group pic in the food street which looks like a street if you don't look at it carefully.
Food terrorists united.
The globe again. I don't know how many snaps I will have with this globe. Just that perhaps at different timing, different outfits and different companions. Haha!
That was not enough. Went to make noise at Candylicious before leaving since we wanted to avoid the crowd that just dismissed after the fireworks.
This is the prettiest tree I have ever seen in my life. :)))))))
This big bar of choco should be enough for all of us. I guess.
My shopping trolley and urrr shopping companions in the trolley? LOL!
Okie, my shopping companions quite cute. I mean the balls we all holding not the human. :P
The huge lipstick. Prolly need a bigger lips for it. Trolled max.
This is cutest max!!! Wanna bring this home so much! T__________T
Guess what they are?
PENS! :)))) Been trying to look for these cute pens for the longest time ever! But the con is the design is real cute but what if the ink run out? It may just lie around somewhere collecting dust afterwards. Wish I can find a pen with cute design and refillable ink. #bestofbothworld But the comment from 38s was "don't act cute at this age" -____________-
We summed the beautifully delicious night up with buy 1 get 1 free gelato in the shop. :)))
By the end, we was really exhausted and longing to go back to find our dearest mate, the bed, and by now I am tired too after typing the whole paragraphs and waited (im)patiently for the pics to be uploaded.
Til then!
Have a blissful weekend!!
