Pounds of Roll

I want to blog but I don't know what to post. Presumably tonight is kinda slack (cause endless discussions yet to start) and taking a break of from job-hunting (continue to haunt after recess fml).
So I decided to back track my stuff. Good stuff of course! :)

Just right before the hottest noon I went to Snoopy's World, me and Vern woke up early in the morning just to go all the way down North Point (北角) to Q at this famous shop for

EGG ROLL!

See the Q so long pun know is good stuff! :D We spotted the Q before we saw the shop.

Remind me of those old shops that still stand after a decade. Still serving the best hand-made food that you will not find them in next decade maybe.

But I don't know if this shop still hand made la!

Saw local uncles and aunties Q-ing for them so I guess if locals are thinking this is good, it should be good hehe!

Egg rolls and egg rolls only. Come in three flavour --> Original, Butter and Coconut. Simple yet delicious.

Auntie packing swiftly after orders were taken and paid.

Finally after around half and hour of standing under the hot and humid weather.

Hooray! Souvenirs for home. #weightlifting

I was wondering why no people, I mean tourists, know about this before. Oh well, compare to those commonly popular one like 钜记, no one brought me egg roll from HK before.

And finally I decided I know why.

Imagine for that 1 pound of the egg roll, how many pounds you have to carry if you have that much of relatives/friends faint. @~@ It was damn heavy even it was just 4 pounds for me! No kidding, I will not import this back for any reason at all if I am ever going down to HK again. I will just grab those nicely pack almond biscuits.

But I have to praise myself for being a good packer (I am fast and efficient too!) haha! Probably I have packed countless times ever since I am here. 4 pounds reached Msia safe and sound and in the most perfect conditions. :D

So I rewarded myself for the energy consumed to import them back. Basically I think I finished 1.5 pounds all by myself. (Minus 2 pounds which I gave to grandma and ah gong.)

Milo is still the best to go with anything. Especially with this aromatic and thick layer of egg roll yum! You won't find this thick and firm egg roll in Msia, not that I know of.

Do drop by and get yourself perhaps a pound to try next time you are in HK. My humblest opinion will say it worth the Q time. :)
